The Digital Humanities Working Group will meet to discuss a shared reading. This quarter we will consider the field of Digital Humanities broadly and the challenges to the idea of a Digital Humanities field. To spark this discussion, we will read 3 selections from Matthew Gold, ed. Debates in Digital Humanities (First published in print by University of Minnesota, 2012 and now available and expanded online).
Matthew Gold, “The Digital Humanities Moment”
Matthew Kirshenbaum, “What Is Digital Humanities and What’s It Doing in English Departments?“
